The Taft Oil-Technology introduces students to a variety of career opportunities in the oil and technology industries and equips youth with the background to make sound choices for their future. Statistics prove that the majority of Academy students who graduate from high school go on to two or four-year colleges. Graduates tend to have enhanced self-esteem, advanced communication skills as well as the problem-solving and teamwork skills necessary to succeed in higher education, in any career area they may select, and in life. Furthermore, Academy graduates heading directly to the workforce are readily employed by the industry. |
